Preseentation of our prototype brevet used in the construction of Stone 2

Gentlemen,

As you should know by now, we decided to present our prototype brevet to Metheringham Airfield Museum.

Metheringham Airfield was the base for 106 Lancaster Squadron, and the base from which, amongst many others, our only VC, Norman Jackson VC flew.

The museum has a “Heroes’ Wall” in the main display room, dedicated to Norman…..

The handover was to Caterina Scott, the Museum Conservation Manager and Education Officer. It was attended by Caterina and her team of Volunteers, in addition 6 of our Association attended.

From L to R, Nick Nicholls, Me, Paul Draycott, Caterina, Al Humphries, Rich Hatzell and Trevor Pogue.

The Airfield Museum is very interesting, well worth a visit if you are ever in the area. By the time you find it you will be truly lost! (Sat Nav and Postcode will work though, the above all got there!) Visit their website.
